This painting portrays an ethereal, faceless figure emerging from a wash of cool blue and turquoise tones, their form fluid yet commanding. Long, flowing strands—resembling hair or streams of energy—arc outward in deep maroon, framing the figure in motion.

At the center, their hands cradle a radiant sphere of green and yellow light, glowing with a vibrant aura that spills into the surrounding cool hues. Golden-orange ribbons of energy swirl around the figure, weaving through the space like currents of power.

From the lower hand, a delicate stream of numbers flows downward, like code or a sequence of hidden knowledge being released into the ether. These numbers shimmer like they are part of the light itself, hinting at a fusion of spiritual energy and mathematical order.

The backdrop is layered with pale blues and vertical streaks of white, creating the impression of cascading rain or a dissolving veil between worlds. The composition pulses with a sense of creation, transformation, and the unseen forces that connect the physical and metaphysical.

Statement From Michael

This piece was born under a star-filled sky at an outdoor campout, where the night itself felt charged with wonder. I was painting live, surrounded by friends, tossing around playful ideas about harnessing power—like sorcerers conjuring light from the air. We struck different stances, channeling energy, laughing and completely immersed in the moment.
Then came one pose where I cupped my hands around an invisible sphere of light. Something strange and beautiful happened—I felt as if I drifted outside my own body, floating just far enough away to watch myself from a few feet back…a vision suspended in time. That mental snapshot, of myself holding a glowing force between my palms, became the seed for this painting.
From there, it unfolded effortlessly, as if it had already been painted and I was simply revealing it on the old door I had primed. That door became the perfect surface—symbolic of the idea that we are powerful enough to conjure light, to open new doors of existence.
It’s a memory of magic—of that liminal space where play, imagination, and energy converge into something real.
