The Spring Bee Collection
Surreal, Visionary

This piece shows a surreal bumblebee, blending imagination with a touch of realism. Her body is wrapped in warm orange and white fur, with shimmering blue eyes that give her an almost otherworldly look. Her wings are delicate and translucent, stretching out like stained glass.
From her back, daisies, wildflowers, and foxtails rise in a beautiful arrangement. The flowers feel fresh and full of life, symbols of renewal and the close connection between bees and blossoms. The background glows with soft pastel colors—peach, yellow, and green—like sunlight diffused through morning air.

She was one of the very first three bumblebees I created in my Spring Bee Collection. The vision of daisies and foxtails came to me so effortlessly that it felt as if she already existed—I simply had to uncover her. This painting holds that sense of discovery for me, the joy of finding something both familiar and new. I love how she revealed herself, carrying both fragility and strength, a messenger of harmony and imagination.
