This painting features a bold and dynamic depiction of a bee in motion, rendered in a stylized, surrealist manner.
The overall aesthetic feels part biomechanical, part fantastical—almost like this bee has been supercharged or reimagined as a cosmic or mythical version of itself. There’s a sense of urgency and strength in its posture, evoking themes of survival, motion, and the vital force of nature.

This piece was a commission from a friend who wanted to capture the spirit of someone close to him—a man known for his bold presence and his yellow, bee-inspired Harley-Davidson. I had never met him, but through the stories I heard and the image of that roaring machine, a vision began to take shape. I imagined a creature charged with velocity and attitude, built for motion and meant to stand out. This bee became a symbol—fierce, fast, and unmistakably alive. When I finally met the guy, I knew right away—this bad-ass bee and him were a perfect fit.
